I’m very proud to share that I’ve maintained a consistent daily step count for the past six months. It’s been a rewarding journey, and I’ve discovered some simple strategies to keep myself moving.

Office Commute
My daily commute to and from the office plays a huge role in reaching my step goals. Choosing to walk instead of taking the subway easily adds around 4,000 to 5,000 steps to my day.
Workout Boost
Incorporating a workout class into my routine provides an extra boost. This typically adds another 1,000 steps, bringing my total to around 6,000.
Treadmill Time
To reach my goal of 9,000 steps, I usually spend an additional 20-30 minutes on the treadmill. I often do this while watching TV or eating dinner, making it a more enjoyable experience.
Winter Challenge
It will be interesting to see if I can maintain this routine throughout the winter months, but I’m determined to keep stepping!
In summary, consistent daily steps have been made possible with simple approaches: a walking commute, working out, and treadmill while relaxing. It’s about finding a balance that works for you and incorporating movement into your daily routine.
I’m excited to continue this journey and see what other fitness goals I can achieve. Let’s keep stepping! Consider sharing your own tips for staying active in the comments below.
